At MIT: The future of enterprise agents and the agentic web

Nasiko's co-founder Karan represented the company at MIT Media Lab's Imagination in Action Summit, joining leaders from Google, Salesforce, Nutanix, and research institutions to address a pivotal industry question: what happens when AI agents move from assistants to autonomous actors inside the enterprise?
The summit made one shift unmistakable. Enterprises are no longer debating whether to deploy AI agents. They are asking how to govern them, secure them, observe them, and trust them at scale.
The gap is infrastructure, not models
A critical gap kept surfacing across the panel: while models and frameworks have advanced enormously, the infrastructure for operating large populations of agents remains underdeveloped. Enterprise priorities now center on identity, discovery, trust, reputation, permissions, governance, and interoperability.
The agentic web
The concept of an “Agentic Web”, an Internet of AI Agents, emerged as a central theme: an open ecosystem where agents can discover each other, collaborate across organizations, and coordinate real work. Getting there requires robust safety infrastructure, not just capable agents.
What enterprises are asking
For agents to earn a place inside the enterprise, organizations need answers to a consistent set of questions:
- Who is accountable for an agent's actions?
- How are its permissions verified and enforced?
- Can its decisions be audited after the fact?
- How is trust maintained across chains of delegated agents?
- How does governance stay consistent across multiple frameworks?
These are infrastructure challenges, not model challenges.
Nasiko's position
Nasiko advocates for a dedicated AI agent control plane: a layer that provides identity, discovery, governance, observability, policy enforcement, and lifecycle management for every agent an organization runs.
The next phase of enterprise AI adoption will be defined by trustworthy, governable infrastructure, not by agent capability alone.
